Jamie’s stepped it up: 36kg down and not slowing up!

Hi, I’m Jamie, and I’m excited to share an update on my weight loss journey. You can see my progress on my previous Before and After testimonial where I hit my first big milestone—losing 24 kg in just 5 months!

I began this journey on November 1, 2023, starting at 142.9 kg. Back then, I was feeling unwell after every meal, didn’t pay much attention to my diet, and junk food was a regular part of my life.

Seven months later, I've lost 36 kg, bringing my weight to 106.9 kg. My routine includes two Lady Shakes daily (breakfast and dinner), a healthy ham and salad sandwich or salad for lunch, and snacks like Lady Bars, fruit, veggies, or nuts when I'm out.
Walking used to be a chore, but now I love it. With my favourite music, I aim for 6,000 steps a day and feel great if I hit 15,000. I enjoy walking through shopping centres, Woolies, and Coles, and even plan trips to Movie World and Sea World. To boost my steps, I walk every aisle and do laps in shopping centres. These simple strategies make reaching my step goals fun and easy.
I start each day with an ice-cold Boost and have developed a real fondness for the Pine Passionfruit. I also love taking advantage of the “Buy 3, Get 1 Free” bundle and my go-to flavours are Mocha, Choc Mint, Cookies and Cream, and Choc Honeycomb Crunch. Mixing these flavours adds a bit of excitement to my routine.

The support from my mum, brother, and friends has been phenomenal. Their encouragement fills me with happiness and drives me to keep going. Additionally, when I hit a really good day of steps, I post about it in The Lady Club. The cheer from others who are on the same journey is incredibly uplifting and reinforces my motivation. It’s such a great feeling to share these milestones with a supportive community.
Seeing how my body has changed over these seven months has been truly amazing, and I’m so proud of the transformation. One of the most memorable moments was when I bought clothes in a size 16 to 18, down from a size 26. That was a huge and joyful milestone for me.
I’m now aiming to reach around 90 kg and will continue this journey, taking it one step at a time. If I encounter a challenging day, I remind myself that tomorrow is a new chance to do better. I’ve also enjoyed making Pancakes and and Choc Mint Protein Balls quick and delicious options for breakfast or a snack!

Overall, I’m thrilled with my progress and the positive changes in my life. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every small victory has made it all worthwhile. Watch this space for when I hit my goal weight! Here’s to moving forward with hope and determination!
