Ingredients

French Toast 

  • 2 slices low carb bread 
  • 3 egg whites 
  • 1 tsp natural sweetener 
  • 1 dash vanilla extract 

Toppings 

  • Dollop of greek yoghurt 
  • 1/2 cup raspberries 
  • Drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup 

Method

  1. Whisk the egg whites in a dish or bowl that is big enough to fit your bread in it and soak your bread slices in the egg whites until soggy. 
  2. Heat a non stick frypan over medium heat. Place your bread slices on the pan and allow to cook until golden and crispy, flip and cook the other side. 
  3. Once both sides are cooked, remove from the pan and top with berries and maple syrup.
